All children have been given an iPad to use for their learning in school as well as at home. Please ensure children come to school with their iPad fully charged every day. Children at Hackwood feel very lucky to be some of the first children in the country to have an iPad to use both at home and at school.

At Hackwood we love reading. We want all children to read at home as much as possible - at least four times per week. This should be recorded in their reading record and signed by an adult. Your child will enjoy reading to you but in Year 5 they can also read to themselves or to someone in their family. All reading counts!

Home Learning will be given out during the first week of the half term and should be returned before the next topic starts. Evidence of this can be displayed by using their individual Seesaw account, which can be accessed on their iPads.
