INSPIRE Curriculum at Hackwood

At Hackwood Primary Academy, we follow the Harmony Trust’s INSPIRE curriculum. Our curriculum inspires children to:  

investigate, nurture, develop new skills, be practical, be imaginative, reflect and enjoy learning. 

INSPIRE 

 Our long term plans are in line with the National Curriculum and, where appropriate, they incorporate cross-curricular links. Learning provides children with opportunities to develop the skills identified through INSPIRE.  

Throughout their time at Hackwood, we ensure that children have memorable experiences. We enhance learning through enrichment activities, school trips, visitors and opportunities to fulfil the Harmony Pledge.  

Through our INSPIRE curriculum, we intend for children to be curious, enthusiastic and inspired about learning. We intend that children at Hackwood Primary have the confidence to persevere so that they become lifelong learners who believe, achieve and succeed.
